On Saturday we woke up early to go to the beach and snorkel. My mom, my sister and I went out snorkeling in the beach but my brother was to scared to go that deep. Then we went out and left him on the beach, my mom went to go check on him every so often. When we were in the water far out, we saw lots of coral and fish every where. We brought with some bread to feed the fish and all of a sudden a bunch of fish started to swim up to us and kill each other just for food! My mom and I saw a Clown fish and this weird fish that looked really hippie! After for about an hour we went back tot he beach and walked over to the Aqua (It's a restauraunt at my hotel) We ate lunch and then dived in the pool! After that it got really late and we all dressed up nicely so we could go out to eat dinner but nobody wanted to so we ended up just eating at the hotel. Room survice.

On Friday it was my second day in Cebu. We got up to the beach to lie down and find some cool seashells. Then we got up and ran to the lobby into the van and it brought us to a diving centre.

When we got there, we went into a boat and this dude got out a big bamboo stick and started to pettal the boat. When we got deap enough we used the rudder and the the guy could rest for the rest of the trip. The boat brought us to a place deap far away int he middle of the ocean, then we all put our snorkle gear on and went into the water! My brother was too scared to go in, but I understand that the ocean is a scary place when you are still a little kid. And my sister tried it, but when she looked under water she totally freaked out and swam to the boat again. She got out after that.

But we weren't the only people on the boat. We had a guy that my mom knows, who's name is David and he works with the best travel agency in HK. He was the guy who showed us the Shangri-la when it was our first time here, and he sure was right, Cebu rocks! Then there was a different guy who was called Nick, he travels the world and writes in the news paper in the travel section. Now he is writing about his adventures in a magazine. Maggy was one person there, then there were some other people on the boat but I don't know there names.

When we all got in the boat again we went to a different island  and had lunch there. It was a very very small island with really poor people on it. Although, they had really cool huts that they made. We got to snorkle a little more there but for the rest we ate our lunch, it was all seafood. It was suprisingly good food.

Then we went to our home island again, but we stopped in the water. we didn't go back yet, we just went close to the island to do some water sports. I went on the bananna boat for my second time with my sister, my mom and David. The speed boat went really fast  and turned a lot. Since the bananna boat was atached to the speed boat, we went so fast and I felt like we were going to tip over!!!! It was really fun though.

Then I went parasailing with my mom and my sister. We thought it was going to be super scary but it was actually quite peacful. We went into the same speed boat and the people put our harnesses on. Then he told us to sit down at the end of the boat next to each other. He then attached our harnesses to a rope that was attached to the big flying thing and then the guy let go of the rope and we were flying in the air!! We had to sit down at all times. We were super high and saw the sunset. It was a really beatuiful sunset. And then after fifteen minues of flying the guy started to pull us down with the rope and then we landed in the deap scary ocean water! Our bodies were halfway underwater and the flying thing fell on us. Then the guy let go of the rope again and we flew like rockets in the air again. It was all peacful and then all of a suddon we land in the water. Then the guy pulled us down onto the boat. I had a great adventure that day.

But it was time to say goodbye to everyone and go back to our hotel room. We had dinner and went to bed. I loved that day. It's probebly going to be my favorite day in Cebu.

Thursday I flew over to Cebu. We are staying at the Shangri-la. It's my second time in Cebu here at the Shangri-la. The flight was only two hours long, so I basicly sleaped the whole entire way. You are probebly wondering why I am on vacation in my vavorite place to visit. Well, I couldn't go on vacation in the Chinese New Year holiday because my sister's friend came from Belgium for the whole week, and we wanted to go to Cebu with my father. And we really needed a break from HK and the weather and staying in the house all day long. So here we are in Cebu! I really love it here! On Thursday when we came here, we spend the whole day going to the beach and swimming in the pool. Then we had dinner in the same restauraunt we ate the last time we came here in the same seats. It was really weird and we only just noticed that. Cebu is a great place to visit! When we came out of the airport, all of a suddon we got a BIG heatwave!!! We just got out and then we died of heat. I love it here! Have you ever gone to Cebu before?

On Friday my family and I went to one of the biggest and most important boats in the world; The U.S.S. Nimitz boat! It was really exiting and really big!!! We first had to take a little boat with a bunch of other people into the middle of the sea, the reason it was in the middle of the sea is because the boat is too big to go in the shallow part of the ocean and then we got off on to the big boat. The little one made me a bit sick...

When we got there into the big Nimitz boat, we saw a HUGE room with lots of boxes and fighter planes. It's an American boat. I took a picture with a couple planes but there were about 73 planes a.k.a way to many to take a picture with! There were so many people that day so we all split up in groups and each group got their own guide who told us everything about the boat and every room we went to he had to explain what it was for and who worked there.

Our guide talked a lot in each room very loud and full of exspresion. It was really obvious that he liked his job. He was one of the fighter plane pilots. This is a picture of the boat my dad took in the small boat on our way there.

First he told us about the planes and why they were there. He told us about the catapults and the every section of the plane. I learned a lot about it. Then we came to the room where the captain and the people who helped stear the boat. It was really big and lots of buttons everywhere.

He gave us some time to take pictures and then he showed us the last room. Well, it is not the last room in the whole boat, but it is the last room he could show us other wise we wouldn't have enough time and the other people wouldn't get a turn. The last room was a very dark room and lots of screens everywhere. He showed us a quick movie about the old pilots and then explained to us what the screens did.

Then we got back on the little boat to go home. And when we were back on land it was about 15:00 so we decided to have lunch becuase we left at 11:00 so we didn't have time. We ate at a fast food restauraunt and I had a hot dog with fries. We spend a lot of time there. When we got out of the restauraunt we were in a mall and I got my hair cut. So did my brother. Then we all went home.

It was really fun!! And a once in a lifetime opportunity.

On wednsday I had a sleepover with Dorothy at 4:00 P.M.
We had planned everything that we were going to do but my mom wasn't there, so we couldn't do everything. Thinking about what we could do next and just goofing around took about an hour and a half! We decided to have dinner soon, so my helper made us spaghetti bolognaise. After that we watched School Of Rock, but we didn't get to finish it, although, in the morning when Dorothy left, I finished it. It's a good movie!

Then my dog Einstein bit dorothy because he heard someone in the movie shout. He usually doesn't do that. It was really weird. but Claudia (my sister) helped Dorothy, by putting some disinfectanting things and a bandage on it.
Then we went to bed at about 10:30, (not really, we were actually awake until about 12:00.)

We talked for ages and then finally fell asleep. In the morning Dorothy had to leave to go to ocean park with Erin and I had hockey, so she left at about 9:00. It was a bummer that we couldn't do everything we wanted to do, but I had lots of fun!

On Wedsday I started hockey camp from 10 to 12 A.M.
It's only two hours but I like hockey, I want to be even  better at it and it means a lot to me. So on Thursday I also had camp and now today, Friday I am going to leave an hour earlier so I can go on that big ship; The U.S.S. Nimitz boat!!! I am going to be on it for the whole day and I just can't wait! Did you know that 73 plains land and take off on that ship?! That is how big it is! I promise I will take pictures and tell you all about it!!!

On Tuesday my sister did a horse competition at this stable, (I don't know what it's called) We saw Ellen and her older sister too. Claudia (my sister) went alone first with her friend to get ready, and then an hour later the rest of the family came, but right when we came to the stables, WE MIST IT!!!!She had just got off of her horse. We were very upset. She mist a jump, but luckily her friend took a video of everything.
